AllWave® One Zero Water Peak (ZWP) Single-Mode Optical Fiber combines three benefits in one fiber that improves metro, access and long haul network performance compared to conventional ITU-T G.652.D single-mode fiber.  It goes beyond OFS’ award winning AllWave Fiber with a 15% lower loss specification at 1550 nm, a 40% smaller minimum bend radius, a 67% lower bend loss, and a 33% improved Polarization Mode Dispersion (PMD) link design value. AllWave One Fiber intermixes seamlessly with the installed base of single-mode fibers having a nominal mode field diameter of 9.2 µm.

Product Description

AllWave One Fiber reliably performs in demanding networks with specifications superior to both the ITU-T G.652.D and G.657.A1 Recommendations. Developed and manufactured by OFS, AllWave One Fiber provides very low and stable spectral loss throughout the entire operating window from 1260 nm to 1625 nm. The fiber features attenuation of less than or equal to 0.33 dB/km at 1310 nm and 0.18 dB/km at 1550 nm providing extra margin and/or extended reach for demanding applications. OFS’ patented ZWP fiber manufacturing process, which eliminates hydrogen-aging defects, provides almost 30% lower attenuation versus G.652.D-compliant fibers in the E-band.
