OFS Polarization-Maintaining Stretcher Optical Fiber is a stress rod supported polarization maintaining fibers designed for stretching of femtosecond pulses in Yb-fiber based chirped pulse amplification systems. It features dispersion properties that match free-space optical diffraction gratings as used in chirped pulse amplification.

  • As a given length of bare fiber on a 105 x 265 mm spool
  • Spliced to PM-980 nm pigtails (optionally with FC/APC connectors) on a 29 x 175 mm spool covered with a protective layer of silicone glue. In this case the length is adjusted to a specified total dispersion
