OFS offers erbium-doped fibers designed specifically for L-Band amplifiers operating in the 1565 - 1610 nm region. These fibers give high efficiency, low noise figure, and spectral flatness in L-Band DWDM amplifiers, while reducing the length needed in amplifier designs. We use patented processes to protect against hydrogen-induced loss.
